A warm welcome for the newest additions to Lucid’s team

Over the past couple months Lucid’s ranks have swelled with the addition of six new team members: Allan, Alexa, Arturo, Chelsea, Eddie and Ted. The entire Lucid team welcomes everybody on board!

Allan Robles

Allan is a native New Yorker and recent M.A. graduate from the Bren School for Environmental Science and Management at UC Santa Barbara. With a keen interest in encouraging behavioral change, he brings years of experience in implementing energy conservation measures. Allan has also organized energy competitions at UCSB and Eugene Lang College: The New School for Liberal Arts, his alma mater. As one of Lucid’s Client Consultants, he is glad to lend his experience to other sustainability leaders.

Alexa Rhoads

Alexa, a recent transplant from Seattle, works primarily on the Application Engineering team doing front end setup and support for Lucid’s Building Dashboard. An avid doodler, she also works with the design team, creating posters and illustrations for energy efficiency programs, competition events and presentations. As the unofficial in-house photographer, Alexa also enjoys documenting the lively atmosphere of the Lucid office.

Arturo Holloway

Arturo began his career designing airplane software at Boeing Computer Services in Seattle. He relocated to California to design business manufacturing software for 8 years and worked as an IS manager for Bell MicroProducts for 3 years. He has spent the last 10 years in the Bay Area as an application support specialist with the latter half focusing on establishing Technical Support Services for startup groups. A San Francisco resident, Arturo spends his spare time trying to orchestrate the perfect world where he plays piano in a contemporary Jazz trio or quartet.

Chelsea Hodge

Chelsea comes to Lucid from Boulder, Colorado, where she was a Research Associate at E Source, an energy management research firm serving utilities and large energy end users. At E Source she researched utility demand side management programs, especially those with the goal of occupant behavior change. As an undergrad a Pomona College, Chelsea worked on diverse campus sustainability initiatives, including a first-of-its-kind project that gave students living in campus residence halls the ability to line-dry their laundry.

Ted Finch

Ted Finch joins Lucid’s Application Engineering team. He completed his B.S. in Software Engineering at the Oregon Institute of Technology, a second B.S. degree at Portland State, and his Master’s at UC Santa Barbara. Ted also brings over 4 years of full-time experience in the field of Electrical Engineering. In his free time Ted enjoys hiking through the great outdoors and reading techno novels by Neal Stephenson, and would like to eventually teach a night course in building automation systems at a local community college.
